The Story:
Beginning:
I have always been an artist. I enjoy the creative process so much. I love to create images that leave the viewer with impact.
Middle:
While pursuing my degree in art I had the opportunity to take a photography class. I remember the day we started doing extended exposures. Our professor lit fireworks in the studio and the film captured the results. That experienced sparked something in my creative process. Then later, in
the darkroom, the process of photography
came alive for me. The entire process, from experimenting with exposure, to dipping
the paper in the chemicals and watching
the image appear as from no where. It is
captivating and there are so many
possibilities in each stage of the process.
